Today when I went over to the farm to help the farmer give the bulls some fresh straw I spotted this visitor in the field beside the yard. He wasn’t a bit afraid of me and kept looking for food in the grass. I hope when there are lambs on the farm he doesn’t get a taste for them.
How lovely. We have a fox visit on a regular basis. he’s never touched the chickens across the road…too well fed I guess.
This must be the year for fox all over the world. My granddaughter and I saw one boldly exploring during daylight here in Wisconsin. Unusual here for that.
Oooh lovely. He looks nice and healthy too. Few round here last few weeks too!
Here in Central Illinois it is Coyotes that we watch around our livestock. They are getting braver and braver coming very close to farms and homes. We own a Great Pyrenees dog who does a fabulous job of keeping the boogers away. Are you allowed to shot fox on your property there?
